I AM™ – A binary abstract series

I found inspiration for an abstract art series rooted in the binary system.  Whenever we send a text, email, read, or post something online, our computing devices convert our text into a simple language called binary. A binary number is expressed in a base-2 numeral mathematics system. This system represents numeric values using two symbols: 0 (zero) and 1 (one). All modern computing devices operate internally using the binary system to communicate. This abstract art series delves into the profound “I AM” concept, reflecting our self-identity shaped by the words we share in digital landscapes. We convey our thoughts and emotions through our digital devices into words, which computers then convert into binary and back to our spoken language, enabling others to understand us. The phrase “I AM” is a powerful form of positive affirmation, carrying significant weight in shaping our self-perception. Statements such as “I am joy” or “I am fit” are crucial in reinforcing a positive or negative self-image, significantly affecting our mental well-being. By vocalizing who or what we are, we can actively influence our mindset and behavior, aligning them with the qualities we aspire to embody. Each affirmation becomes a brushstroke on the canvas of our lives, creating a picture rich with potential positivity or negativity. The “I AM” series of paintings reflects a single word a person uses to describe their self-perception expressed in binary form. Guided by inspiration and imagination, I experiment with new techniques to bring joy to others through my work. Abstract painting is my true artistic passion, allowing me to create without boundaries.
